SchoolnetMali- Mokoya Juru has received the moral and material support of schools such as the CFPE, a vocational school, the Ministry of Livestock and Fishery, the Ministry of Education, Drums for solar and the western cape School's Network.

Besides, it has benefited from the financial support of IEARN international, USAID- Mali, I ICD via SchoolNetAfrica and YES program through IEARN international , technical support of GEEKCorps Mali, l' AMUL ( Association of Linux Users in Mali). Details in the table below:

Training Center

Through the program computers for schools in Mali, SchoolNet has been able to create a computer training center which is composed of second hand computers.

GOAL

• Contribute to the popularisation of new technologies of information

• Allow SchoolNet to have a source of essential income

EQUIPMENT CENTER

Mainly composed of second hand computers, the center possesses 15 computers of pentuim III in good working order, 15 tables for computers, a knight to give training and a projector.

Maintenance Center/Technical Center for Second Hand Computer Renovation

Encouraged by the computers for schools program in Mali , SchoolNet has opened a center of maintenance and renovation of second hand computers in order to attend better SchoolNet schools (which have received computers from computers for schools program in Mali .

GOAL:

• Give a technical aid to an affordable price to partner schools

• Create an opportunity of financing resource for NGO

• Give a renovation point in West Africa in order to popularize computer tools in the country

• Give technical means to NGO to do up and equip its partner schools through the country

Material resources:

The center is very poor in maintenance equipment, nevertheless has at its disposal standard tool keychain, an equipment of network installation, (network clamp, tester)

Human resources:

The workshop team is composed of a permanent member and two (2) volunteers Performance suggested by the center Put in and network installation Computers' maintenance Installation and configuration of Linux system, windows and other computer applications (software of cyber management, AutoCAD, educational software etc...)

These performances are mainly reserved for partner schools of SchoolNet network. At that day the center has not led any activity of using computer renovation but the potential (storage ability, human and technical resources etc) and experience are the major trumps for that project.

Cultural Exchanges

To promote links between communities in the world, through schools and NTIC, such is the aim of SchoolNet by leading its activities of cultural exchanges.

E-mail exchanges between students of Bronx Community and students of Bamako University

E-mail exchanges and video conference between students of CFPE and Oak Hall School in USA/ Florida Gainesville.

YES program partnership for education – Youth Exchange and Study. Extension of computers' program for all Malian schools in all regions of Mali.

• Improvement of center of technical assistance; improvement of existing modules of training and creation of other ones for adults and children;

• Reinforcement of women and children's abilities through NTIC; popularize the free softwares and the voluntary service in service of development;

• Reinforcement of teachers' abilities for a great participation in online learning circles through GTP Mali.
